I Pray Every Day For This.

June 30th 2013

Every time we travel to the Greek Islands and the southern Turkish Coast to establish more and better lines of communication and safe places I see many large 30 and 40-meter Turkish Gullets that would be capable to carrying hundreds of Jews to safety out of Europe in the coming days.

These are boats that can move in and out of marinas and other places not drawing a lot of attention because there are so many of them. This is a 45-meter 10 year old $2 million boat, when new the price for this boat was $10 million.  It takes a captain and a crew of 4.  If we had this boat today we could bring ministry supporters for a few weeks or a couple months on board and rotate them with other supporters from time to time.  If war broke out when they were on board and we went into action rescuing Jews they would have the option of being part of the operation or disembarking at the next port or marina.  There are hundreds on our mailing list who would love to do something like this. In fact it would be an experience of a lifetime.  But let’s face it, the price for this boat is very far out of reach at this time, but that is where faith comes in, isn’t it?

There are less expensive boats for sale measuring around 30-meters capable of carrying many across the Med to Israel.  They are also used and around 10 years old like the one below costing in the neighborhood of $400,000 to one million.

Today our largest boat is a Turkish Gullet. It is 20-meters. She is in good condition and ready for service with all the necessary electronics and safety devices.  At maximum we could carry around 75 across the med safely. Not nearly enough.

Together we can save many, but it is together not by a one man show.  Your help is needed and the time for that help is now.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers, pray for this ministry and your part in it.

Shalom, Jerry Golden
