One of our boats is stranded in Cyprus and we have exhausted our finances trying to get the transmission replaced or fixed. Joel left for Turkey 20 days ago on what was to be a three day trip, The transmission went out on the boat mid way in the middle of the Mediterranean and the boat begin taking on water. It was necessary for him to navigate to the Island of Cyprus, it took many hours as the top speed couldn’t go faster than 1.5 knots. He had on board extra water pumps making it possible to make it to port.
Originally he was carrying enough money to make it to Turkey, pay the dry dock fees, and leave the boat for quick repairs. This then making it ready for service as the crisis for the European Jews is worsening by the day. But everything changed with the transmission going out. We had just gone though having the motor replaced and we thought the transmission was okay, but we were wrong.
The mechanic in Cyprus found us a used transmission but today we discovered the mounting holes don’t match. Now we have two choices buy a new transmission that we can’t afford and simply don’t have the money. Or take the gears out of the used one we found and use the parts to replace in the old transmission.
Yesterday I sent Joel the last money we had by Western Union, and even with that it may not be possible to get what needs to be done accomplished. He is completely worn out as he has been fighting this for 20 days now with very little sleep. I just got off the phone with him and he says the mechanic told him that possibly he will be able to get the replacement parts in place by Friday. That of course will cost money for the extra hours of labor.
His wife Ola and kids miss him very much and are worried sick over this whole thing. They know it is dangerous for him without the extra mechanical and water problems. Connie and I have been on our knees for hours knowing that we have come to what looks like there is nothing else we can do but pray.
With all the above we also have many obligations here at home in Israel and because of the financial drain brought on by the motor and transmission we are struggling to try to make ends meet.
I can’t help but believe the Devil knows the time for saving Jewish lives is at hand and he is at war with us like never before. We have a come a long way in this ministry from nothing to three boats and contacts and communications throughout Europe and the eastern Mediterranean, and never have we seen such a satanic attack as we are encountering today.
We need your prayers, and financial support for without it we fail. This is a Body Ministry and that Body is now being tested. It is going to take a miracle to get through this and it even looks like it may not be possible – but with God all things are possible.
If God has been speaking to you about supporting this ministry in Israel, we welcome your support.

As long as the mail is running it is still my belief that a personal cheque sent airmail and if necessary registered letter is the cheapest and fastest way to send support.
If God has touched you to bless this ministry in Israel, I don’t need to tell you how important this support is, and if He hasn’t touched you, there is no way I could make you understand.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this ministry and your part in it.
