Successful Operation

Thank God and thank you for your prayers.

The Aortic Valve in my heart was only functioning at around 20% causing me to fatigue very quickly and develop a shortness of breath. For those who may be interested the name of the operation is TAVI. There are 3 types of operations for this problem. Two of them call for open heart surgery, and the third TAVI they go through two arteries reaching your heart. They place a metal ring and biological substance in your heart. I’m told it was pig (so much for being Kosher) but I never was edible anyway.

I can tell you the result is absolutely amazing. I feel much better, breath easier and I am not tired like before. Here in Israel it is socialized medicine and this operation is very costly and not the first option they want to give you. More proof how much God loves us and answers prayers.

My stay in hospital was 4 days. I’m home now and told that I need to take it easy for a little while giving the heart time to heal. God surely answered our prayers knowing I would need to be very healthy for the action about to befall us all. It was not only my life but that of many others who could have weighed in the balance.

I feel rejuvenated and ready to go full steam ahead, but hear the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) telling me “not so fast“.

Our boat in Turkey is in the threatening position of being lost if we don’t move it soon. Nothing could give the Devil more pleasure than to have victory in that area of this ministry. I am praying that God speaks into the hearts of those reading this because of many factors; Islam and the political decisions of the Turkish President in particular. We know that the needed finances to move the boat to a better location for pick ups, safely out of the reach of those who want to harm us, must be sent soon.

All I can ask you to do is pray about this. So much depends on all of our obedience to God’s call on our lives.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for this ministry and your part in it.

Shalom, Jerry Golden
